The month of December is looking to have some major releases. We have Wayne dropping his experimental Rebirth album, Clipse are releasing Til The Casket Drops, Gucci Mane, and others; as well as Young Money. Young Money is Wayne’s supergroup consisting of Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Jae Millz, and others. It’s been a while since a mainstream artist brought out a successful entourage, and Young Money will be put to the test on December 15th. The track listing for the album is here and it is a total of 14 tracks with appearances from Gucci Mane, Birdman, Lloyd and Pleasure P. Like most artists that get big, they bring their entourage out and drop a full length album. BIG did it with Junior Mafia, Nas did it with Bravehearts, and most recently Rick Ross introduced Triple C’s to the world. With Lil Wayne’s success over the past years, he’s now ready to bring out his group Young Money; an ensemble cast of rappers ranging from singer/rapper Drake, sex symbol Nicki Minaj, the young Chuckee, and others. Details emerged on their upcoming December 15th release, We Are Young Money.

One highlight of every BET Hip Hop Award show’s are the Cypher’s before the commercial breaks. As usual, they mesh together new, old, and random MC’s into a Cypher as they all go in. This year it features the likes of Joe Budden, Eminem, Mos Def, KRS One, Nipsey Hussle, and others with DJ Premeir on the 1’s and 2’s. The hip hop music genre continues to become more male dominant with the quantity of female mc’s decreasing. Not many mainstream female rappers are in the limelight; there’s Lil’ Kim, Trina, Missy, Eve, and others. There there’s Nicki Minaj, this week’s Chick of The Week. Young Money rapper/singer Nicki Minaj gets this week’s spot being the sexiest female artist out at the moment, possessing a sexual image similar to Lil’ Kim and Foxy back in the 90’s. Nicki Minaj hailing from Jamaica, New York and recently dropped her mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty. She’s currently unsigned but is generating a buzz based off her Wayne affiliation and sex appeal.
