9 12 2009

Young Jeezy – Side A: Scared Money feat. Lil Wayne
Side B: Miss Me feat. Lil Boosie (Snippet)

It seems that lately artists have been dropping new music in two’s; last week there were two new Eminem tracks, over the weekend there were two new Wayne songs, and today I got two new tracks from Young Jeezy. First is the Boi-1da produced, “Scared Money” which features an impressive verse by Lil Wayne, and next is a snippet of a Boosie assisted cut. In other Young Jeezy news, he recently reconciled his differences with long time rival Gucci Mane on a radio show with Dj Drama. He will also drop Thug Motivation 103 in 2010.

Their dispute started with “So Icey” where Jeezy was featured and supposedly shortchanged.

10 11 2009

DJ Khaled feat. Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Usher (Produced by The Runners)
Dj Khaled Fed Up
This joint leaked a couple of weeks ago featuring only Jeezy, Drake, Rick Ross, and Usher. It looked as if the feature list is too short for a DJ Khaled single, and next thing you know Wayne is now added to the list. Khaled continues to follow the same formula from “We Takin Over”, “I’m So Hood”, and “Out Here Grindin'” with The Runners providing production to the track as usual. Dj Khaled’s fourth release Victory is expected to drop early 2010.

MTV’s Hottest MC In The Game: #7 – Young Jeezy

1 10 2009

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Why He’s Hot: Young Jeezy may not yet have a mainstream, marquee name like some of his platinum peers, but the Snowman is an undeniable rap goliath. In hip-hop, his moniker holds just as much weight as the other big dogs. How else could he bring out Kanye West and Usher during the big Birthday Bash concert in his hometown of Atlanta last summer, and then turn around in 2009 and usher out surprise guests Mary J. Blige and Lil Wayne? And by the way, when Jay-Z decided to perform his earthshaking “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)” in concert for the first time anywhere on the globe, he came out during Jeezy’s set at the “Summer Jam” show in New Jersey. And he followed that with a prominent slot on Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour last summer, which ran for six weeks and was one of the most successful tours of the year thus far.
