To continue the trend of random posse cuts, Tyga links up with Trina, Too Short, Maino, Cam’Ron, DJ Khaled, and back to the West with Nipsey Hussle; for the remix of “I’m On It”. The original track can be found on Fan of a Fan with frequent collaborator Chris Brown. This is the second remix from the project, with the first one being the highly talked about “Deuces (Remix)” which dropped a couple of weeks ago.

With the release of Gucci’s The State Vs. Radric Davis album approaching, more material from the project will be leaking. One of the more interesting collabo’s on it is today’s new track “Stupid Wild” with the mandatory Wayne feature and Cam’Ron who’s been on and off the scene. Bangladesh lends his usual heavy hitting production similar to 8Ball and MJG’s “Don’t Make”. The State Vs. Radric Davis will be in stores next Tuesday.

Earlier this week snippets of this joint leaked, and now the full track is here. Cam, who’s been lowkey lately hops on the piano-driven Neptunes instrumental making this a sick collaboration. The Clipse third album Till the Casket Drops, is shaping up pretty nicely with songs like “Popeyes”, “I’m Good” and “Kinda Like a Big Deal”. Till the Casket Drops is coming December 8th!

Bases off a poll asking what is the most highly anticipated Fall release, Kanye West won by a long shot. It was obvious that that was the most hyped since 808s & Heartbreak has been the biggest topic on all hip hop sites. With everyone curious to see if this album will be a hit or miss, it will definitely do good numbers. 808s and Heartbreak will easily be one of the more interesting albums this year. Got Ya Covered: The Old Generation Vs. XXL’s New Generation
21 10 2008XXL’s December issue features Hip Hop’s new generation. There are three different covers including newcomers Charles Hamilton, Wale, Asher Roth, B.O.B., and many more.
This cover is reminiscent to The Source’s outstanding June 1998 cover that featured raps new generation at the time. The cover was a three page fold out, and unfortunately I can only find the first page of it.
Other artists that made the cover were: Big Pun, Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz, Cam’Ron, Noreaga, and Canibus. Let’s evaluate where these artists are now…
