hip-hop-reair copy
One highlight of every BET Hip Hop Award show’s are the Cypher’s before the commercial breaks. As usual, they mesh together new, old, and random MC’s into a Cypher as they all go in. This year it features the likes of Joe Budden, Eminem, Mos Def, KRS One, Nipsey Hussle, and others with DJ Premeir on the 1’s and 2’s. Stay tuned as I add the Cyphers throughout the night, and continue reading to peep the “freestyle” sessions.

Though he stated that today wasn’t the best of days, he still brought a brand new joint for his fans. He flips Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away” for the hook as he drops some deep rhymes. His debut Attention: Deficit will be in stores November 10th.

XXL’s December issue features Hip Hop’s new generation. There are three different covers including newcomers Charles Hamilton, Wale, Asher Roth, B.O.B., and many more.

This cover is reminiscent to The Source’s outstanding June 1998 cover that featured raps new generation at the time. The cover was a three page fold out, and unfortunately I can only find the first page of it.
