Concert Info: Kanye West x Lady GaGa – Fame Kills Tour Cancelled!

1 10 2009

fame kills
The highly talked about Fame Kills tour with headliners Kanye West and Lady Gaga has officially been cancelled. The two planned on doing a 30+ tour that was scheduled to begin next month and end in January. Rumors began to circulate about a tour cancellation after Kanye’s rant against Taylor Swift not deserving her award at the last MTV VMA’s. There is no reason as to why it’s been cancelled, but details are still developing. To confirm the cancellation, here is a tweet fresh from LiveNation’s Twitter making it official:

Maybe this cancellation will give Kanye the “time off” he said he will take when he appeared on the Jay Leno show (Kanye shrug).

Jay-z Peforms D.O.A. @ Hot97 Summer Jam

8 06 2009

As usual New York’s Hot97 maintains it’s reputation for having surprises at its annual Summer Jam concert. This year Jay hit up Summer Jam to perform “Death of Autotune” that has the internet going nuts. Alongside Jay is Young Jeezy and ironically, T-Pain who can easily be mistaken on Hov’s anti-auto-tune track. Prior to performing his latest track he performed his verse for the remix of Jeezy’s “Put On”.

Rock The Bells 2008!

22 07 2008

The lineup has been out for a minute, but I’m posting this for those who missed it. This has gotta be the hottest show since the Glow In The Dark Tour brought to you by Kanye and co. Nas and A Tribe Called Quest alone is worth it, but when you throw in Ghost & Rae, Red & Meth, Rakim, and a slew of others, you got one hell of a show. Rock the Bells will take place August 9th at the Glen Helen Pavilion in San Bernadino (and yes, tickets are still on sale). I’ll be there, where will you be?
