I’ve been hearing some hype about Wiz for a minute and honestly, I’ve never listened to dude. I’m feeling the way he flipped “Burn After Reading” and titled it “Burn After Rolling” for the theme of this mixtape; plus it has some anticipation behind it, so why not post this? You’ve probably heard his name from his breakthrough joint back in ’05 titled “Say Yes”, and he’s also been generating some hype on Hip Hop blogs all over the net.

Hip Hop’s bad guy calls the Gomez Bros. to drop some real talk about his album leaking, his “So Disrespectful” diss track, and the Beanie Sigel and Jay-z situation that has the net buzzin. He remains neutral as to who’s right and who’s wrong with Beanie’s accusations, but he does co-sign Beanie on the Young Gunz getting ripped off for their show money. He also announces that Before I Self Destruct will now be in stores November 16th. Check out the full interview below.

Mixtape Madness: The Official No Ceilings Mixtape
1 11 2009Lil Wayne – No Ceilings (Mixtape) + 4 Additional Tracks
Earlier this week Wayne’s No Ceilings Mixtape leaked earlier than expected. It was supposed to leak last night, and it did as scheduled but included four additional tracks. The only catch to it is, the track list is still out of order and the track list will post tomorrow via WeAreYoungMoney.com. In the meantime I will post all 17 tracks that were originally on No Ceilings, and put the additional 4 tracks as bonuses. When the track list hits tomorrow, I will update this here post and get the tracks right.

If you’ve been under a rock, Beanie Sigel dropped an unexpected diss track towards Jay about how he didn’t take care of his labelmates and didn’t reach out to him while he was locked up. The following day, Charlamagne the God interviewed Beanie Sigel and he spoke about the incident with inspired him to get in the booth and rap about it. Late last night, footage of a interview hit YouTube with Jay addressing Beanie Sigel. He didn’t have nowhere near as much as Beanie had to say about the situation, but check the video below:

Dope or Nope 10/31: Game’s Mainstream Single!
31 10 2009The Game – Big Money (Produced by Cool & Dre)
First we heard the street single to the R.E.D. Album which is the Timbaland produced “Krazy” with Gucci Mane. Now the mainstream single is here, titled “Big Money”. Originally it was rumored to have been produced by Dr. Dre (who Game would like to produce on the album), but it is actually produced by Cool & Dre.
Game uses Willie D of the Geto Boys famous opening line “I make big money, I drive big cars/Everybody know me, it’s like I’m a movie star” for the single’s hook. What are your thoughts on the track?

Off the Books: Kanye West’s “Glow In The Dark” Book

Kanye West continues his reign of artistry with his artbook named after his tour, “Glow In The Dark”. The book is composed of artistic images, costume designs, and more from his highly popular tour, making it a collector’s item for any Kanye fan (as shown in the video above). This isn’t the first time Kanye’s emerged onto the literature scene; he’s made a book with Spike Jonze titled “Through the Wire”, and also the handbook “Thank You, You’re Welcome” fans received among attending the “Glow in the Dark” tour. The “Glow in the Dark” book is in stores now ranging from $31.50 to $49.99.

The video for the track is exactly how I pictured it; black and white footage and classic images of NY. “Empire State of Mind” is one of the best city anthems in a minute, and was ever performed at the Yankee Stadium in honor of the Yankee’s who made it to the World Series. The Broad Street Bully calls out his former mentor and labelmate Jay-Z. The diss caught Hip Hop fans by surprise since Jay is the one who showed Beanie the ropes and everything appeared to be all good. Apparently, while Sigel was away on his bid, he felt that Jay didn’t hold him down and also held him back from advancing in his career. Beanie has been lowkey though he released an album titled Broad Street Bully, and made an impressive appearance on Raekwon’s last joint; but he’s breaking his silence with this diss!
