Trey Songz – I Invented Sex (kinda NSFW)
Vodpod videos no longer available.

Ladies man Trey Songz premiered his newest video “I Invented Sex”. Unlike the album version of the song, it does not feature a verse from frequent collaborator Drake. Since the video has been released, it’s been talked about making it a trending topic on Twitter. The main video chick is nice BTW

Got Ya Covered: Chris Brown – Grafitti (Album Cover)

3 11 2009

Chris Brown Grafitti Album cover
Yesterday the album cover for Chris Brown’s comeback album leaked and has people talking about his fit on the album cover. Chris Brown even spoke about people getting on his tights on the cover via his Twitter stating that he knows fashion which is why he wore em. I’m still confused on the point of the little cartoons in the corner. Grafitti will be in stores December 15th, and will include CB’s latest club joint with Lil Weezy “I Can Transform Ya”.

Dope or Nope 11/3 – New Sa-Ra & Jay Electronica!

3 11 2009

Sa-Ra – Love Czars II (Ft. Jay Electronica & Ta’Raach)sa-ra_creative_partners
Neo-Soul’s best kept secret, Sa-Ra “Creative Partners” drop this dope melodic joint with one of my favorite new artist, Jay Electronica. Though Sa-Ra and Taz Arnold (Sa-Ra’s lead and Kanye’s affiliate) are a bit eccentric, their music is fresh and soulful. If you ever want to get up on their music, check out 2007’s The Hollywood Recordings. The original “Love Czars” appears on their most recent release Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love.

Takin’ Em Back – 10/30

30 10 2009

Michael Jackson – Thriller
Cliche choice? Maybe. Classic? Yes! It’s only right that “Thriller” is the throwback joint of the day with MJ’s documentary This Is It hitting theaters this week, and tomorrow being Halloween. As a shorty, everyone vibed to this video, even though the visuals had em shook. The video was definitely ahead of it’s time and is still enjoyable till this day making it timeless. The video was also re-done on This Is It and was going to be in 3D for MJ’s sold out tour. Now this, is one of the best videos of all time!

Album Artwork: Rihanna – Rated R

27 10 2009

Rihanna Rated R Album Cover
Rihanna’s album cover hit the net earlier today and since then it’s caused controversy since then like her lead single “Russian Roulette”. The cover shows a darker side of Rihanna, and also has some people thinking there’s a hidden message behind it (all my conscious peoples know what I’m gettin’ at).Regardless she definitely switched it up from her “Pon De Replay” days. Rated R will be in stores on November 23rd.

Nice!

The favorite Borean chick Amerie collabs with Fab on her latest track “More Than Love” off her upcoming In Love & War album. In case you’re wondering where you heard the beat from, Dr. Dre’s “Dr. Pepper Commerical” uses the same beat which was produced by The Buchanans. In Love & War will hits stores November 3rd, and will include appearances by Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, and more!

*New single Russian Roulette inside!
It appears that ever since Rihanna has her physical altercation with her ex dude Chris Brown, her career and image has changed. Her good girl image changed throughout her career, but recently she’s taken it to another level and increasing her bad chick value and sex appeal. Continue reading to peep her new single “Russian Roulette” written by Ne-Yo, and to check out more pics of the sexy Rihanna, along with her new rumored album cover!
