The highly anticipated (as of today) street single from Hov is here! The track is titled “D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)” putting an end to the excessive use of the autotune in hip hop. Ironically the track was produced by Kanye West, who made a complete autotuned album, and No I.D.. Jay also shouts out Wayne who uses the autotune heavily. This is a dope way to kick off Blueprint 3 dropping this September 11th!

All this week I’ve been bumping the new BlaKQout album by Quik & Kurupt and it’s a banger. The album is filled with that West Coast vibe that’s been missing from hip hop over the past few years. That brings us to our throwback for the day, Kurupt’s “We Can Freak It”. This joint still bangs till this day and I’m loving the smooth BattleCat production.
