Crucial Conflict – Hay
This was my joint way back when! Of course as a young’n I didn’t fully get it, but I still thought this was a banger. The quality isn’t the best but peep The Box (remember that?) captions at the bottom, and don’t dare call in for a video. Crucial Conflict was a group of four emcee’s from the Chi who had a fast style of rhyming similar to Twista and Bone Thugs. Their debut album The Final Tic went Gold off this single alone.
