Jay-z – H to the Izzo
Today’s throwback joint is in honor of Jay’s third installment in the Blueprint series. Originally, The Blueprint 3 was supposed to be released on this day, but the release date was pushed up due to early album leaks. Eight years ago from today we experienced the tragic and unfortunate 9/11 attacks, and also the release of what’s arguably Jay-z’s best album, The Blueprint. “H to the Izzo” was the first single off the album, which later help put Kanye West on the map.
