Beanie Sigel feat. 50 Cent – I Go Off

The first collaboration between Beanie and 50 is finally here. As promised, “I Go Off” premiered today, Friday the 13th. Beanie gets back on his grimey tip with Fif with an old school vibe. What’s a new 50 feature without shots fired? Fif goes in on Jay at the end of the track of course.
Wale – Attention Deficit

2009 was the year of new MC’s; Drake gained a mainstream buzz with his So Far Gone mixtape, Charles Hamilton dropped his digital release, and Asher Roth and KiD CuDi released their debuts. Then there’s Interscope’s newest signee Wale, the first rapper representing D.C.. After heating up the mixtape circuit with projects like The Mixtape About Nothing and Back to the Feature and being managed by Jay’s Roc Nation label; listeners wondered if Wale was ready to take on the mainstream Hip Hop scene. After a couple of push backs, his debut album Attention Deficit is here; the real question is, does Attention Deficit hold your attention?
Gucci Mane – My Own Worst Enemy (Produced by Drumma Boy)

Life imitated art today with Gucci Mane being sentenced to a 12 month bid (6 months on good behavior) for probation violation. Unfortunately he will be incarcerated during the release of his anticipated The State Vs. Radric Davis album dropping December 8th.
I’m leaving you with this new joint that surfaced today by Gucci titled “My Own Worst Enemy”. Gucci gets at his rival Young Jeezy, and fellow ATLien T.I..

Clipse – Til The Casket Drops

The Clipse collab with New York artist KAWS once again for the album cover of their third LP Til The Casket Drops. KAWS is also responsible for creating three of their single covers and also the cover of the Complex Magazine where the duo was featured. While I’m a fan of animated album covers and KAWS’ work, this one is average. In my opinion it’s ideal for a single or a album promo, but as an official album cover it could’ve been hotter. Regardless, I know the album will be a banger. Til The Casket Drops will be in stores December 8th.
DJ Khaled feat. Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Usher (Produced by The Runners)

This joint leaked a couple of weeks ago featuring only Jeezy, Drake, Rick Ross, and Usher. It looked as if the feature list is too short for a DJ Khaled single, and next thing you know Wayne is now added to the list. Khaled continues to follow the same formula from “We Takin Over”, “I’m So Hood”, and “Out Here Grindin'” with The Runners providing production to the track as usual. Dj Khaled’s fourth release Victory is expected to drop early 2010.

Snoop puts us up on “Snoops State of Mind”

This weeks Chick of the Week is the sexy, Columbian songstress Shakira. Shakira hails from Columbia and has grown to be a Latin Pop sensation and sex symbol. Some of Shakira’s best assets are her pretty face, petite body frame and her sex appeal. Aside from that, her signature hip movement is enough to set her aside from many other singers and she’s also just as flexible as Rosa Acosta. And who can forget the illustrious “Beautiful Liar” video with Beyonce?
Her latest album She Wolf has been topping charts internationally and will be released in the US on November 23rd. Her current single “Give It To Me” features Lil Wayne and production from Timbaland.
Robin Thicke feat. Jay-z – Meiple (Me I Play)

Jay links up with Robin Thicke on the French inspired track “Meiple” (pronounced Me I Play). Similar to Jamie Foxx’s “Speak French”, Jay drops some clever metaphors referencing the French language and culture.
Robin Thicke’s fourth album Sex Therapy is expected to drop this year with “Meiple” appearing on it. Aside from Jay-z, Nicki Minaj will appear on the album while Polow Da Don, Robin Thicke, and others will provide production for the LP.
