Ye’s second single is finally here. The snippet has been floating around the net for about a week now, but here is the full joint. It’s easily more favorable than “Love Lockdown” (which I still think is a nice track). And yes, the autotuner rumors are true. 808’s & Heartbreak is due out Nov. 25th!
Kanye West – Love Lockdown
Mr. West stopped by Ellen to world premiere his video for “Love Lockdown”. It’s strange that he chose to debut it there, but it was slick in way because people without satellite tv/cable will still be able to peep it and he can expand his audience. I’m liking how he incorporated the African art into this joint, giving the video an artistic look. Kanye West recently announced the new release date for 808’s & Heartbreak which will be November 25th.

I fucks with Atmosphere. They’re latest album When Life Gives You Lemons…Paint That Shit Gold (lol @ that title) was pretty good. This was one of my favorite tracks from it.
Ciara feat. T-Pain – Go Girl
Ciara can definitely get it. She’s back with a T-Pain featured single off her upcoming album Fantasy Ride due out December 9th.
Last night at the Key Club out here in LA, Kanye made an appearance at T.I.’s Paper Trail Album Release Party. Here’s some footage from Consequence showing Ye & T.I. perform “Swagga Like Us”. Afterwards, Kanyeezy performs “Love LockDown” and debuts his next single “Heartless”. I guess he serious about the autotune, but the joint sounds nice. 808’s & Heartbreak has been pushed up to November 25th!

I upped a blog last night with a word from Kanye’s site about “Love LockDown” not being the official version, now the short wait is over. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet but when I do I’ll be back with my thoughts. After hearing the official version, I can definitely say its better than the last. This single is from out of left field for Kanye, but it’s fresh and innovative. I’m curious to hear how the rest of 808’s & Heartbreak will sound. We’ll find out December 16th.

I knew the “mastered/final” version of “Love LockDown” wasn’t official. It was just something about it that sounded incomplete. The buzz for this single is undeniable. First it the anticipation of the performance at the VMA’s, then the studio version had everyone checking for it daily, now we have yet another version of it to look forward to. This quote is directly from Kanye’s Blog:

At a recent show, funnyman 50 Cent mocked Kanye West by “delivering his new single” which turned out to be Kanye’s “Love LockDown”; the much talked about new single from Kanye’s upcoming “808’s & Heartbreak” album. Fif claims “when you stop fuckin’ with him, that’s what you stuck with” while the audience screamed “Fuck Kanye!” 50 also announced the release date for his fourth album “Before I Self Destruct” which set to drop December 9th; a week before from Kanye’s. It’s easy to tell when G-Unit affiliated release is on the way when the beef and taunting starts. Looks like 50 is trying to stir up some early controversy to build up to his new release (yawns). Kanye Vs. 50 Cent again?
Kanye West Gets Arrested @ LAX
Kanye West was arrested at LAX this morning after an altercation with a photographer. Kanye and his road manager broke a $10,000 camera resulting in his arrest for vandalism. The scuffle started after Kanye was irritated by a photographer taking his picture. A TMZ photographer caught the incident on tape:
Kanye was arrested and will be released on 20k bail. I guess he really does hate these niggas more than the nazi’s!
Hell Rell No Longer Affiliated with Dipset
In a recent interview with HipHopGame.com, Hell Rell spoke about his plans, him being underrated, and most importantly announced his departure with the Diplomats. Hell Rell the Top Gunna is more interested in shining on his own and his plans on launching his new website.
