I recently wrote a blog about a new Wu-Tang album that is supposed to drop this month (click here to read it). Sorry for the confusion, but it’s more like a compilation album. Instead of featuring all 9 Wu-Tang members, it will feature core members like Raekwon, Ghostface, RZA, Inspecktah Deck, and U-God. Chamer Music Vol. 1 will feature appearances by AZ, M.O.P., Havoc, and others. It will still drop on the 30th of this month, and it will be executively produced by RZA. My chick of the week is the sexy Amber Rose. Ever since she hit the news for dating Kanye West, she’s been appearing on numerous photos online, events, and she’s even slated to appear in Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” video. After first appearing in Luda’s “I Know What Them Girls Like” video, she received attention from everyone because of her unique, bold image. Not many women can rock a shaved head and still have sex appeal, but Amber Rose manages to do it. Aside from her rare image, Amber Rose has a bangin’ backside, and a nice pair of C cups. 2009 NBA Champions – Los Angeles Lakers

Last night the Lakers closed out the NBA finals by putting out the Orlando Magic 99 to 86. It was bound to happen since the Lakers led the series 3-1, making game 5 the final game of the series. After the victory, Laker fans showed their appreciation ironically by tearing up the streets of Downtown LA. The Laker parade will be this Wednesday at 11:00AM starting from the Staples Center ending at the Coliseum.
Big ups to the Lakers for their 16th championship and Kobe Bryant being the NBA Finals MVP! Great season.

Remember this from way back when? When youngsta’s actually wore their clothes backwards just to be like Kriss Kross? It sounds silly now but it proves if you have a dope single and present a trend, people will eventually follow. Kriss Kross was gettin’ it in at the age of 13 after being discovered by Jermaine Dupri, and putting out singles like “I Miss the Bus” and today’s throwback joint, “Jump”. Today Kriss Kross is still working with Jermaine Dupri on different projects, and “Jump” was recently sampled by newcomer Nipsey Hussle for “Hussle in the House”.

Call me a hater if you want, but I’m surprised at Soulja Boy’s progression. I thought as soon as “Crank Dat” died down he would be just another one hit wonder. Since then Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em’s been putting out catchy singles making himself remain relevant. This time he links up with Mr Gangsta Grillz himself, DJ Drama; for his Twitter themed mixtape titled “Follow Me”. The mixtape features appearances by his new affiliates Gucci Mane and OJ Da Juiceman. He’s currently working on his new album The DeAndre Way that is set to drop this year. Dope or Nope 6/11: New Clipse!

It’s been a long day for me and before I catch some Z’s I’m postin’ this new Clipse and Pharrell joint titled “I’m Good”. “I’m Good” will appear off their forthcoming album Till the Casket Drops, in stores September 8th. Pharrell comes thru for an appearance on the track and a dope piano, synthesized beat. If the album sounds like “I’m Good” and the predecessor “Kinda Like a Big Deal” with Kanye, then this should be the third superb album from the VA duo.
