Jay’s second Brooklyn track this month (see last Monday’s DoN Brooklyn (Go Hard)). I’m not sure if this will be featured on Blueprint 3 or the Notorious Soundtrack, hence the Biggie shout outs. Also, Happy Birthday to the Jiggaman. Jay-z makes 39 today, proving that there is a such thing as longevity in hip hop. While other artists took shots at Jay for his age, I consider that an accomplishment to be above the average age in rap and still highly active. The Blupeprint 3 drops February ’09!

One of my favorite Jay tracks ever! The rhymes, the beat, and the Nas sampled hook is all classic. I don’t agree with the Jiggaman saying Nas was using his voice wrong cause “The World is Yours” (where Jay got the sample from) is one of the illest hip hop joints.

Bases off a poll asking what is the most highly anticipated Fall release, Kanye West won by a long shot. It was obvious that that was the most hyped since 808s & Heartbreak has been the biggest topic on all hip hop sites. With everyone curious to see if this album will be a hit or miss, it will definitely do good numbers. 808s and Heartbreak will easily be one of the more interesting albums this year.
